How Many IPTV Connections Do You Need? (1–4 Plan Guide)
King IPTV plans come with 1, 2, 3 or 4 connections. Choosing the right number saves money if you would have over-bought, and saves frustration if you would have under-bought. This guide explains what a connection is and helps you pick.
What is an IPTV connection?
In IPTV, a connection normally means one stream playing at a time on your subscription. It is about how many screens are watching at the same moment, not how many devices you have installed the player on. You can set up a player on a Firestick, a phone and a laptop, but with a 1-connection plan only one of them can stream at once.
How to count your connections
- List every screen that might be watching in the evening — living room, bedroom, kids' room, phone, tablet, computer.
- Decide the most that would run together on a busy night. That number is your starting point.
- If it is more than 4, contact us about options.
Also remember the internet limit: every extra simultaneous stream uses bandwidth. As a general guide, about 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream. Several 4K screens at once need a fast connection — see the internet speed requirements and our buffering guide.

How many screens might stream at the same time?
1 connection: One viewer at a time
Fits a single person, or a household where only one TV, phone or tablet is ever streaming at once.

2 connections: Two screens at once

3 connections: Three screens at once
Fits a small family where two or three people often watch different things in the evening.

4 connections: Four screens at once
Fits a busy household with several TVs and tablets, or anyone who hosts and regularly has multiple screens running together.
King IPTV plans for 4 connections start at $67.99 for 3 months, and go up to $290.99 for 24 months (+2 months free).
More than 4 screens
Standard plans cover up to 4 connections. If you regularly stream on more screens, contact us and we will advise on the best option.
